Muffling sound in games

Just gotten a new pc yesterday.
The sound keeps dropping in Diablo 3, overwatch, pubg.
Only happens in games. Anyone encountered this issue before?

Update the sound driver from the manufacturer site.

Did this but doesn’t work.
Tried Bluetooth, plug in, headphones, speakers all don’t work...
Sound for YouTube and twitch is perfect. Only affects games

What is your soundcard and did u screw up your surround sound settings

Ok guys thanks for the replies. I resolved the issue. Seems like I used a 3 pin plug previously, caused my psu to draw less power and therefore had audio issues during games. Now my new pc works perfectly fine. Thanks everyone!
