Hi all HWz bros

decided to create a thread after reading quite a few threads as i'm not sure what build should i go for intel or AMD so i'm going to post what i have chosen and i would like to see what you guys recommend

its not urgent build BUT... PC is almost 11yrs old i changed 3 GPUs before.. currently using 1070 Amp with 4 monitors 3x 1920x1080 and 1x 3840 x 2160(gaming @ 60fps)

gaming would be about 50-60% the rest are like watching drama/youtube, web browsers and monitoring stuffs
games choice are racing games or some 3rd person games.

Choice of Hardware;
CPU: Ryzen7 3700X
Mobo: Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero
Ram: 32GB ram G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3200 CL16
Storage: 500GB M2 Samsung 970 EVO
PSU: CM Gold or EVGA SuperNova G+
GPU: Whats recommended?

Thanks!

Since not urgent, better wait till 11.11 and 12.12 then hoot cheaply. Intel Ice Lake desktop CPUs may also debut towards end of the year.

There isn't much difference between 3700x and 3600 other than number of c/t....
So, you need to identify if you need that many c/t.

4 monitors eh. Do you on all 4 monitors every time? Even when gaming? When you use 4 monitors, the other monitors are on graphical intensive things or just graphs?

If you don't play 4k 60 fps then no need. :s13:

So the question is are you playing in 4k resolution?

time to downgrade :sad: now switched onto 1920 trying to off monitors, i think bottle neck on my CPU too old... if i change CPU then also need to change GPU :s22:
