What do you guys think? It's mainly a shopping and eating trip. Please advise.

how much are you willing to spend on shopping?

IMO the price range for places such as Siam Paragon (***) and Platinum Mall (**) are much higher compared to Chatuchak. Number of asterisk = more expensive

Platinum Fashion Mall is mainly for ladies.

For guys, you should go to Bobae Tower & Bobae Fashion Mall, it has more choices for both guys & ladies which sells the cheapest in Thailand if you buy more. Some stalls require minimium 3 pcs / 6 / pcs / 12 pcs. The street stalls are open 6am to 1pm while indoors open 6am to 3+pm. It would take about 8 hours to shop through all of them so I suggest to stay at Prince Palace Hotel the previous night so you can maximize your time.

I shop there from 6am to 11:30am and then checkout hotel at 12pm.

Siam Paragon is like orchard road lol ... the supermarket also very expensive

Bobae tower is like zhen zhu fang. Is like 6 floor wholesale centre. From Pratunam take cab there is around 65B by meter. The clothes are not as trendy as platinum mall, but is cheaper. Polo tees are around 100B, printed tees is like around 50B, same as CTC. Their belt and tie are around 50B.

Platinum mall belts are like 80B and above. MBK clothes are like 150B onwards, more expensive.

Hey, any recommendation to buy clothes for a guy? Need to wear those L-XL clothes, M is can, some might be tight fit.

Any sportswear shop to recommend? Looking to buy shoes and sportswear.

Can try bobae if you want cheaper ones. Shoes are around 199B for ladies and men. Shirt around 60B onwards for v neck plain shirt or round neck plain shirt. Need to buy minimum of 6 onwards

just tell them your destination and hand them the money
they'll give you a ticket in return

do note that pratunam pier is an interchange so it'll be busy most time of the day
if you are not sure of the direction you should be heading, just ask anyone standing around and they will kindly point it out to you

Cause later miss the stop to shop at Pratunam.
