Otherwise if diet is guai guai, then don't eat loh
Can share more about your typical daily meals .. Kind of foods u eat, snacks from morning to night etc :s42:
Now night shift,
Before work, fish and veggies, much lesser on chicken intake since it has higher omega 6 and fats too
After work, high carbs stuff at work, then fried onion eggs, Kiwi, berries, and recently banana
Anyway maybe psyllium husk to me helps too, though people said it is not helping with anything
Been eating it on most days for the past half year liao
At least my sais are nice, gold standard
Before that, always fluffy one

Why is your Hba1C still elevated?
Eat chestnuts ,mee/bee Hoon, peanut butter loh

textbook knowledge.

eat every few days can still explain the significant reduction in LDL. not really due to psyllium or special diet.

most statin half life very short. so today eat work for today lor. if u really resistant to taking med, maybe can eat when u eat alot of oily, fatty and carb heavy foods. which is what im doing

also. please let ur doctor know that you are not adherent to his prescription. otherwise the updated doc may increase the dose because your LDL did not decrease as much as he expected... so he just up dose for you

You are doing quite well. You need to lower your carb intake, walk a bit after a meal. With that your Hba1C will be good again.

not really due to psyllium or special diet.
As mentioned, it helps with the quality of my stools and to blunt my blood glucose
Disgusting, warning!!!

And I'd like to try just psyllium husk with chia seeds, apple cider vinegar, cod liver oil without statins for 3 months to see the effect

Why not take half that dose daily instead

try lor. ur results are good enough

although its some pseudomedicine theory that **** good shir daily means healthy... i dont remember got any good evidence to that

but because the husk interfere with bowel movement, if u arent absorbing the cholesterol, then again u may not be absorbing the other nutrients wor

The Benefits Outweigh the Drawbacks: The same gel that temporarily binds some nutrients also:
· Slows down sugar absorption, improving blood sugar control.
· Binds to and removes excess cholesterol and potentially harmful toxins from your body.
· Feeds your beneficial gut bacteria, which actually improve your overall gut health and, in the long run, your ability to absorb nutrients.

· Take psyllium husk and/or chia seeds 30-60 minutes before a meal or 2-3 hours after a meal. This creates physical separation between the fiber gel and the main bulk of your nutrients, minimizing interaction.

Oh and one more thing,
Psyllium husk is a good tool to lower the risk into getting colon cancer

TS gong xi on your total cholesterol.

Me trying to reduce it, now going to gym and try to be more healthy. Cut down on fried food, eat more veggies.

Can ask you how chia seeds taste like ?
Is it same as Barley ?
And is it really helpful to you ?
Not TS but it taste like nothing lo, I soak in milk + oats + almond/walnut/cashew overnight and eat as breakfast.
