I think SG needs briyani authority to maintain standards for the briyani to be called briyani.. Nowadays is more like colored ghee rice.

Thats why we need to import more talents from India to replaced all the rubbish "localised" briyani to suit the local tastebuds with the true authentic ones.

My favourite briyani restaurant is Islamic Restaurant @ 735 North Bridge Road.

Their mutton briyani is $13 per serving and it is delicious coupled with their teh tarik
