Thanks for pointing this out. You are referring to the GPU, rite?
So the other option is to use AIO for the CPU only and add more fans in casing?

well case fan is to provide better airflow so u can cool ur system, but not completely can cool down your whole system, when u game the heat is there.

So may I summarized it this way. If use ID Hunter for both GPU and CPU, I may void the warranty on the GPU unless I know how to put it back.

Or I keep the stock cooler of the GPU, then either I add in an AIO for the CPU, or a air cool type (Coolermaster/Noctua etc).

Then subject to case I choose, I then decide on the additional case fans.
And this is the point where I can get decide the fan size as well as color LED RGB fans I wanna spend on.

I see some casing comes with this PWM control Hub.
Is this standard or only available with the more high end casing.
What do they do? Allow you to control the fan using the PC from screen?

Well i rmb some GPU have stickers on the screw, once u screw out, warranty void already =:p

Yes more or less just grab a cooler for CPU can already, else just stick with stock cooler for CPU.

Yup more of less for it.

As for fan hubs usually some case with fan controller will provide it as well, but mostly without fan controller, won't provide fan hubs, not really sure is it all high ends case, but I think only a few of them will be able to have it. Nonetheless u can still purchase one if u need, just need to find out which type u want to connect to, either mobo or fan controller.

only avaliable with certain casings. depends whether the casing front panel got any fan controller knob or sth. otherwise, it can act as a hub for additional fans in case your motherboard not enough fan headers.

think so far i remember all phanteks cases come with this

Pardon me, what does this hub control? The speed? LED? Or num or fans?

For PSU, you can try Seasonic G-650 Gold @ $169 or Xigmatek Vector Gold G650 @ $119. Both 5yrs warranty. :)

Only with latest gen CPUs and GPUs.

Yes which is in this case what TS has chosen in his #1 post? No?

Skylake with a 1070....

This 2 dont even eat up to 300w range. Despite even ocing the GPU lol.

While on the other hand he can also look into 600w region, if the price gap isnt far apart.

Thanks for the input. As per Moneyface advise, Platinum is overkill unless there is an irresistible deal. For PSU, if purchase from Amazon, will there be any voltage issue? Am likely to go for Gold and 600w-700w range since optimum should be running at about 50% load.

For plug not an issue as adapter is easily available.
The main concern is if the voltage is unusable and required a transformer.
From PSU rating, I've seen 110V - 240V. Anyone who had made a purchase can confirm?

don't use adaptor .... directly change the cable

it is a very common cable from water kettle to power brick adapters

whether the specific PSU is 110-240v auto switching you have to search yourself for that particular model .... example zoom in on the product photo that show the sticker
no blanket answer yes no

Also need advise about SLi. What are the benefits?
Eg. If SLi using 2 x 1070, would it have a better performance than a 1080?

Xigmatek Vector series newly in? Seems like made by Andyson...

Looking good but the provided cable sleevings are wearing thin like those found on lower end FSP Hexa+....
