I had a 40+ year old friend who also passed away few years ago due to cancer. He used to earn alot which led to another friend of mine to feel envy of him. Now he has passed I often tell my friend that he is envying you from the grave.

Earn a lot also need to enjoy a lot.
Or else the money will be enjoy by some one else in his family.

Actually, it is more of not enjoying your success and leaving it too late.
We never know when the expiry date is.

I am the older gen.
I am aware that the present gen are not shy about enjoying life immediately.

it all depends on how you define life (biological and existential sense)…. 😂
