Casio watches are very lasting. Swiss made, western branded ones spoilt easily and cost unreasonably high.

There are a lot of DW-5000C (their 1st G-shock) that is still in service now after 30 years. Just need a battery change or a new resin bezel/strap if worn out.

U want gadget, u get gadget. U want basic watches, they make basic watch too.
However, nobody even Swiss made watches that can be thrown down 7 floor and still in working order, go figure out how tough and reasonable price they are selling.

i think most plastic watch can survive a 7floor drop, if i tie a few rubber bands around the watch.

indeed casio is the watch i wear to NS and ICT. cheap and scratch no heart pain.

and why will you want to throw down 7 floors? :s11:

If the same concept apply, get a fonerange phone which is a phone that can be thrown for 10 stories and still usable. No use for a smartphone :s22:

U try a Swatch lo... I believe it can't survive the 7 floor drop.
