$200 u can't get any decent analog/digital G-shock, those low end Gs are not made by Casio themselves, they just buy the module from Miyota (Citizen) and that shows Casio dun even bother to design the cheap modules.
High end Analog/digital with tough solar and Tough Movement are designed and made in house in Casio Japan factory and it can be found in MR-G, MT-G series.

So why do the straps break? Both the gshocks I had suffered from this problem. Otoh I've had cheaper non gshock models that lasted forever. For a model range that supposedly is extra durable it's unbelievable that it's this fragile.
