Great effort TS. Are you able to do a graphical view of the numbers?

100 x 100 bitmap, each pixel corresponds to one number

0000 corresponds to top-left pixel, 9999 corresponds to bottom-right pixel

Then allow user to select time frame

Within time frame, every time a number is picked, draw on pixel so that it gets bit darker. End of it, we have visual of the pattern for a time period

Bonus feature would be user can hover over a pixel to find out what number that is

Possible?

Good idea, I never think of it

But will it be useful? Such pattern in 100x100 got use?

There are a few applications for this

First is that patterns are easier to spot when they are made graphical. Example is if you compare two similar pictures, it's hard to see small differences when they are side by side. But if you superimpose them and do quick flips, you can see differences easily

Second is that graphical representations can be fed into CNNs so that we can crunch them using neural nets to extract any patterns that are normally not visible.

Last but not least, something graphical is always cooler and more user-friendly

Also it does not have to be just 100x100. It can be 1000x1000, just need to scale accordingly for visual purpose

Great work TS, how many years of data do you have? Can you run the visualisation over the entire dataset and show in just greyscale (more occurrences = darker corresponding dot, can use scaled alpha to control darkness of the dot)?
