Who does a business at cost price without a profit, except me. If you need a printer and I can get for u at $50 cost price and I dont charge u anything other than that same $50, how is that a business. I.E if your neighbour helped you buy 1 bottle of Coke from NTUC @$1.75 and she gave you a receipt which says $1.75 and u give her back $1.75, is this a business? Or how abt it cost $1.95 and u give her $2 and keep the change, is that business then?

I am sharing my artistic & creative skills as well from what I made from home & I gave out because I made too much and I don't like the idea of food wastage while millions out there are deprived of even clean water, much less food. I had given some out to my neighbours, friends and relatives.
And I treated EDMW as an online family since 2001 and especially during my lonely days in Australia, despite how trolls tried to bring me down. Therefore I gave it out here. There is no law stipulating that 1 is not able to give out/away anything for free. And I didnt ask those that Ive met up with to buy my products. If they want to know more about me, I CAN'T stop them from their actions.
And this opera I gave out, Ive done it for 10 years. I don't need too much opinion as Gordon Ramsey, Pierre Herme, PINK, Kylie Minogue, Prime Minister - Australia had tried it while holidaying in the resorts I've worked previously. If they enjoyed it, I am sure it's good enough for most. But of course I am not a robot, but even automation has failure rate. Asking if it is sweet or moist enough is quite normal. If you eat Sichuan food for the 1st time, would u ask if it was spicy?
If you or your HWZ team want to taste my cakes, sure no prob. I'll make u a tasting menu for free. I will personally bring it down to SPH office. I'm more over the moon when you all enjoyed my products than giving me $ for the cakes.

With your above statement, you have shown that you and your team have bias abt me posting cakes/foods are akin to potential sales while others are just plain showing off their skills or creations. I did share my mates modelling workshop near SPH centre. How is that not advertising then? I GPGT many food threads, I might be related to the stall owners and advertising for them. I did stipulate I am not selling on EDMW in my free cakes thread. Just like above quote. I don't even say I am taking any orders. This applies to all those who asked in it. I already told them I am not selling on EDMW, don't sabo me pls. Why not you just infract all those trolls who accused me of an illegal and unhygienic food operations in my "advertising" thread. You lack of actions agianst that lot seems like you lot are siding with them against me. This is a link on NEA which allows me to sell food in the 1st place, much less giveaway free food.
PS: I love and respect food and I love to share food with all. Food is my life, career and my spine is affected by the work I did in the kitchen. I promised that I'll do a dinner party from some EDMWers like 5/6 yrs back when I came back to SG, but some of them are gone and I'm still struggling with my mobility due to my bad spine. When others tell me their opinions on the taste and texture, I can improve on myself and render a better version, next time I cook. Shouldn't we humans all seek improvements? Seems like you and your fellow mates like to stay status quo. Sorry, we chefs strive to do better everytime we do something same or new.
Food and cooking is the same thing to me. It's a passion that mere desk jock like you and your admin team will never understand nor respect the efforts spent by chefs do their best, work OT without OT pay and sweating out like a grunt in a 38 degrees kitchen to storm up a good feed for everyone, while you all just sit down and relax with a beer and pig out like wasted drunk. While you celebrate festive seasons, hospitality industry is slaving behind to serve you all.
