you hear chairs dragging ah??? you drag yours oso... if downstairs neighbour complain... you deny say it is from upstairs and you offer him to come your house and listen...

you oso shld disturb your upstairs neighbour... get a broom stick and knock the ceiling... find a way to mechanize the knocking... you wear ear plugs and sleep .... thx me next time

Usually noise from dragging of chairs don't last more than half a minute. Few people have the energy to drag chairs or rearrange furniture for even 10-20 minutes every day.

Those who can't stand short burst of noise should insulate their ceiling. There is rarely absolute quiet in apartment living.
