-A lot of mata shushu. Like seriously at least 2-3 times the amount of mata shushu from last time.

-Plainclothes police everywhere.
There were like 20-30 of them standing outside the MRT station at the end of the rally.

-More plainclothes police spying from the top of the multistory carpark. They even set up a big tent at the top.

-Don't know why the big white tent behind the stage got aircon one...

-Saw PAP lorry pass by the field at least 5 times

-My estimation is around 20-25k people.

-Speakers need to be louder, way too soft.

I saw plain clothes everywhere too. V obvious. Look for anything that resembles a walkie talkie at the side.

Fifteen minutes before time I saw maybe 20 people suddenly moved off from the crowd, too obvious when it became like a single file.

And then a group of maybe six if them congregating before the MRT talking about God knows what. Possibly crowd control.

becuz of the size of the crowd ma. in the event some people starts to get overzealous, they can come down and prevent it from spreading. it's normal one.

My point is, you probably won't even know if the person next to you is here to listen or to arrest people.

agreed on the volume...cannot hear shiat at times.

also, i saw the mata on top of the MSCP. dunno what the heck they doing, barricade the CP as well.

Now, i have an issue with this. The police should be non-partisan at ALL times. They should not be a tool that can be used willy-nilly by the PAP for their political advantage. But this has always been the case.

Our system is warped in this manner as the essential organs of government are intrinsically tied up with one political party. This raises a multitude of issues for any other political party that might get the majority vote and forms the new government.

What then? Will we have the same scenario of the AHPETC saga but on a national level? This problem shall persist as long as the lines between political power, political legitimacy and state organs are blurred.

Rast GE, at one of the rallies, there was a "photographer" near me. He was wearing a wired earpiece on one side only. He seemed to be taking instructions through the earpiece and he would go near the target to shoot poto of that person using his telephoto lens.

He slowly worked his way around the crowd taking shots of peepur nearby. When peepur got upset with the camera on them, the would move away and yet the photographer kept shooting wib his long lens.

When he finally trained his long lens my way, I know cannot siam riao.

So I went right up to arm's length distance from him. He kept backing up as I was nearer than his lens' effective focal length.

It was sho funny.

In the end, I got right up to him and gave him a big smile. We both knew the game was ober.

Then he left me in peace to watch the rally.

plain clothes police now dont even both to hide or conceal themselves in the crowd.

i got there quite early before the crowd, around 645pm? walking towards the field, saw a bunch of plain clothes walking beside uniformed mata before dispersing into the crowd.

i was behind them all along when they were discussing among each other.
