athlon x3 value for money during its time. cheaper than core 2 duo but comparable performance. However its power inefficient. CPU consumes 95 W but performance you get around 2.3k cpumark which is same as 6w low powered fanless processors like n4200 nowadays.

I tried giving away a few Core2Duo sets but no one wants
Heartpain to use them for kids pc coz so power inefficient...

You can try posting on Marketplace. I sold a bunch of stuff at $10 each, C2D E8400+MB, 430W PSU, GPU etc rather than throw them away during Dec. I really hate throwing away perfectly working stuff.
