My S6 back button and program button not working

Hi guys, anyone have similar problems?

My s6 left n right sensors not working, home button n others all working well..

Any good repair shops to introduce?

To temporarily use these functions (back and program) you can enable on screen buttons via these steps:


Settings --> accessibility --> Dexterity and interaction --> Assistant menu --> Enable

This would create an on screen button (similar to an iPhone's accessibility button)

It's a capacitive screen issue. I.e. Meaning you have to replace the whole display assembly.

Unfortunately I don't have any shops in mind
Did these buttons fail suddenly?

Would suggest that you let it dry out (maybe put it in rice / silica gel) and stop using it for awhile - in wet-related accidents / circumstances this should be the step that one should do as further usage might cause irreparable damage.

Are other components still working? Such as speakers/ charging port / headphone jack / mic?

my s6 is working in good condition.
maybe you can try playyourconsoles or janet mobile.

Intrinity, i had blow it under the hand dryer for awhile...the incident happened on friday night... at first the home button doesnt work... after awhile its ok... but as for the left n right sensor , not working anymore...

The s6 is not fully into the water... just the bottom. The rest of the functions worked as for normal.

Haiz.. really regret been so careless
