Dependent on unit. Mentally and emotionally stressful at times; I mean, you can't exactly fake in front of the crabs and stars that there is somebody talking to you when there isn't?

What does this vocation do ?

SIG OPR = Signal Operator = Signallers

U will be trained to operate signal sets and various military communication equipments, then either deployed in signal battalions or posted to other units that need signallers.

YES!..not forgetting dealing with Projector, PA system, Computers...Phone lines..and some even air con...

Yes... Signal are in charge of media stuff in some unit.. can be fun if u r interested.... Good luck..Signallers is a very interesting vocation cos u cn be posted to anywhere... (other than BMTC and Commando...)
u cn smoke other ppl during outfield...but too bad if u r posted to signal battlion cos there all ur ppl...cnt smoke thru...

There will be 3 different kind of signals they train you over there. IC1,IC2,IS. for IS there wont be any outfield. For IC2/IC1 there will be quite a few outfield. Overall, just enjoy your 2 months in Stagmont, it will be the best time in your NS life

just like what the other bro said...outfield very little if u in IC1/2 but all within a day...no stay overnight de...
i donno about SI now but my time...(juz 1yr plus back) was quite fk up.. stupid commander gave wad...3 strike rules.. once 3 strike kenna defaulters...(even got once we doing running... sing song time CO think we very soft..kenna kb...the 3SG straight away shout... FIRST STRIKE!!!!... ) our reflection book everyone complain about that rule...
thn make us learn song in the evening and the 3SG tht time very wayang...
