my wall outlet's buttons broke off

apologies in advance but i couldn't find an appropriate place to post this. my wall outlet's buttons broke off and got a bit confused as all the wires are brown .what are these 2 wires for ? Thank you

Brown is live, blue is neutral.

If you are not sure, just buy the same socket and follow the same wiring. Do remember to switch off the power at the circuit-breaker box before doing this. A current tester is advisable to check whether there is any current, to be on the safe side.

Actually, if you do not even know what is a brown wire for, I strongly suggest you get an electrician.

Yes, brown is live and blue is neutral. If you get the exact same wall socket, the way you put in the wires will generally be the same. Please if this is your first time replacing, I strongly suggest you off the mains in the breaker so that you don't electrocute yourself accidentally.
