My case is real weird, if my router can grab the internet connect from ONT. theoretically, it should be working fine. I contacted MR support and were told "Pertaining to your concerns on a direct connection to the ONT, allow me to share that the ONT have a limitation of number of devices that can be recognized within a short span of time. If you are not able to get a connection via a direct connection the the ONT, kindly power off the ONT for about 15 minutes then try again.".

1. Do not know what limitations, could have been more cleared to me.
2. Tried to power off ONT for 15 mins and tried, still cannot.

Any personnel from MR that can advise or help on my issue?

My issue was resolved with a new ASUS router.

No issues on static ip as well. anyway anyone seen the home automation demo thing at the roadshow? dunno if applicable irl yet, they make it seem like all possible right now, might wanna get some of those functions if it actually works irl, anyone using?

Noob question, you guys use statistic ip for remote access to your PC or IP Camera?

I'm currently still on my old MR plan, I'm deciding to upgraded it to the new Ultra plan, when will the charging starts for the OTC and such?

Mine is estimated on Q3 2014 as shown on upgrade screen.

I'm still thinking what to do with my RT-N66U.
can the $100 voucher be kept till i decide to upgrade my router?

or do MR have a Trade in offer for this?

The new monthly subscription fee and OTC are charged upon installation.
