Hi all, any1 tried using sh huawei hg256s for myrepublic? :s11::s11:

From what I understand, that isn't a good router. Wireless speed can hit around 30Mbps and wired only 100Mbps. If you use that for 1Gbps plan, good luck.

What is the Synology 213SE deal about? I've only heard of 214SE.

The deal is just an additional free bottle of wine.

MR does not offer 100Mbps plan any more. Currently MR only has 300Mbps (for upgrade/recontract customers) at $39.99/mth and 1Gbps plans at $49.99/mth.

thx for the info.
let that i change to m1 ba @$29 for 100mbps because 100mbps is enu for me.
don't wish to dish out so much $$ i still got many 'monthly' bills to pay.

Now no more 100Mbps cus they move from NC already. Just go for 1Gbps:D

If you are going for cheapest plan, then M1 100Mbps @ $29/mth but I am not sure if M1 throttle the speed.

actually i like MR - last 22 months and current no much hiccups.
left 2 more months till contract ends - problem is this thread so many negative reviews vs Part 1 and Part 2 (which was heavenly positive and hyped to the max)

likely i will jump out of MR unless their CSO willing to come forward and offer me a 'nice' re-contract package which i am clueless till now. -> only read from you guys that there is a 300mbps plan for existing users but can't find on their website or when i hit the 're-contract' option.

Initially, I had problems with MR. Not stable. Sometimes very slow. But after sometime, I'm pretty happy with it. Looking forward to recontract but there is no package to suit me, forcing me to consider others. What kind of business model is that leh ? :s22:
