Nah it's ok, can you recommend me a VPN service that is easy to setup? Got a good site to recommend and reasonably priced?

I used to be quite an active DOTA player so I enjoy watching DOTA 2 tournaments. :D ESL is coming up this weekend, and I dread streaming it this weekend.

Ugh the horror if my net is gonna choke up like Choke9 this weekend.
Gonna be a disappointing laggy buffering weekend watching Dota if this persists.

Technically the easiest way and free way is to get ANY of your fren on a ASUS router, on a ISP that has no issues with twitch to operate their router as a VPN server, which is easy as a click on a button.

Then u just connect, and viola, smooth streaming as well. :s13::s13:

I rather this than making you pay extra, to get something u should be entitled to.

It's ok lah. I been exploring around for VPNs just to try out also, so hoping you got a recommendation as well. I got no intention to just give up though, MR needs to fix this.

As far as I see, this twitch issue has been reported since as early as March this year. So... :s22::s22: I'm really hoping they put real thought into this issue

As far as I can tell their issue is likely congestion on their routes, but from their peering I see no other available routes. So yea. :s11:

Last time MR had some weird issues with nintendo DNS, took them a few months to fix. Because of that my 3DS always got problem accessing the animal crossing site, cannot upload properly. Jin dulan.

Troubleshooted MR connection a few times for my friend, it would seem that their DNS used to cock up rather frequently, but since then I changed the DNS of my fren to Google DNS and unotelly DNS. thus far has been fine. Fingers crossed. Ultimately he loses out in terms of local akamai servers for MR etc on youtube sites, but he rather that than refreshing sites a few million times and pray the DNS responds on time without timeout :/

Even thou I don't twitch, I believe MR should resolve this issue ASAP as there is quite a bit of users who uses them on a regular basis.

VPN a bit better only.

Trust me I tried. Unless you pay for the really premium and expensive ones maybe those will be smooth? No idea you have to ask the Astrill users. I use PIA when I was on MR and Twitch was buffering/stuttering and its just a little better only.

Since March already reported. Don't see them admitting to anything.

Apparently I stand corrected. Since last year Feb @.@ reported. Thou it could be fixed for awhile then it came back. On the other hand, it is confirmed there was a spout of twitch tv issues since march and till date unresolved... Thou apparently it doesn't affect all customers it seems.

Apparently it affects ALL 1Gbps users all the time, and for some of the older users on Nucleus Connect OpCo the buffering/stuttering only happens intermittently.

Still has buffering/stuttering to Twitch when on MR using this VPN.

It is just slightly better.

Agreed, it does still buffer and stutter as it's only a slight fix, not a full one. There is really no other way to sort out unless the MR fixes its routing unfortunately.

Haha there is, I dumped MR for VQ :D Virtually zero buffering/stuttering.
