I'm gonna be out too, this month I am having 2 plans in parallel, having activated my giga plan on 1st, and holding the MR plan (since I read that MR does not do partial refund). Will port in the MR number to giga towards the 20th to 25th of the month.

Circles or myrepublic???

Just bought circles' data only plan and saw Myrepublic's 50GB for $20 - same deal but Circles brand seems stronger leh. Anybody tried both before?? Love to hear some reviews

MyRepublic SIM card delivery is now $5.35. Previously was $3.21. It was free before that.

Recently the signal has been really poor. Even at home it's weak 4g or 3g signal only. I live near lower delta (not ulu area). The poor signal plus the voicemail which consumes talktime really making me thinking of switching telco.

Even the free TPG sim has a stronger signal at my home vs the MR one.

Anyone else experiencing such poor signal?

If you using new plan most likely m1 has poor network coverage at your area.

If u stick the phone out of windows did the signal improve? (Just for testing)

I keep losing my MR connection and unable to regain my data connection. No such thing for M1, CMLink, Giga and TPG.

MR is really bad and on top of the poor M1 connection speed.

Same here in King Albert Park area, recent MR SIM card that connects to M1,
M1 network full bars, excellent bandwidth BUT data connection drops every 30-40 minutes and even sometimes it's even the whole network connection that disappears (the doomed X instead of the bars)

We are being promised no throttling up to 4GB however we get instead regular dropped connections.

I still hope this is configuration issues fixable at M1 side...

Hey guys, not sure if you have following issue for iOS MyRepublic Talk app to call phone banking overseas.

I have made call to overseas Malaysia bank number using MyRepublic Talk. The call went through and you would get selection. Eg. For English, press 1; For Mandarin, press 2.
I press 1 in the MyRepublic Talk keypad, but the phone banking said I did not input any selection.
I need to try 5-10 times in order to get the selection and I could not complete my phone banking because during one stage I need to enter my IC number.

Immediately, I tried to call using International Direct Dialing on same MyRepublic phone number, and all my numeric input is recorded properly by the phone banking on the 1st try.

I wrote to Rica in live chat and she was unwilling to waive the MyRepublic Talk charges too. Shouldn't have use the MyRepublic Talk.

Basement 2, near mr.coconut. basement 1 and basement 2 is full of M1 repeaters. Speed ranges above 150mbps.

MyRepublic-M1 is fast. This is much faster than what I experience on Grid-Singtel
