MyRepublic providing the service at $8 is a strategic move to get their customer base. The first 3 month we are likely to face service inconsistency as their beta tester.

so for me I will wait till my mom's M1 contract exp, then port over MR. :)

Can I sign up now get a new number then port over my existing telco number over once contract expires?

i saw their number porting does not allow for prepaid number port. they advise to convert to post paid then port over. zz.

if never buy booster, can still connect in e.g. malaysia? don't mind a "slower" rate if can. (coz they say boundless data, and no bill shock. and they term this as a "booster" rather than a VAS)
then buy booster, then exceed 1GB in Malaysia (within the 30 days) , no more surfing or just slower surfing?

Yeah, the codes can be used more than once, at least for mine.

don’t mention bro. i wouldn’t mind to sign up or jump ship to myrepublic if they are using Singtel or m1 network. don’t have good experience with SH as its coverage is poorer as compared with the other 2telcos. that’s why i stick to zero1(ST) and give up myrepublic(SH). this is just my experience and may diff from yours.

Yes, my main line is with Starhub for 5 years now and experience has been good in my area. Not jumping ship - I'm just getting this as sim for my tab. $8 per month is low enough to try. :)
