Trying to see if anyone knows about banking app in Malaysia. I tried finding UOB Tmrw Malaysia on play store but none comes out. Is it because I already downloaded UOB Tmrw Singapore already? Same thing for shopee Malaysia. Why cannot find?
Probably Google account not in correct region/country, thus, not showing the apps.
Google account isn’t like Apple ID where region can be changed. Thus, have to create separate accounts for each region/country Play Store. That was my understanding previously, things might have changed, do correct if I am wrong.

Some apps detects your location in-app and provides region specific interface.

My android app is version 9. I did a system update. After that, it is still same version 9.

I tried searching on Play store app for e.g. Shopee Malaysia but I get this notice "This app is not available on Google play in your region."

Do you know how to select the region/ country in Play store?

Not exactly convenient now to provide you the info but believe google search should point you to the correct direction.
Can’t recall whether region change is available now or requires new google account setup specific to region required.

Sometime if hangs and no data transfer, I just turn off airplane mode or restart HP. Everything back to normal. Northpoint ( Yishun ) sometime cannot move at all.

Been using MR 5G for a few months, feel good. Here's some advantages over other sub-$20 plans (simba $10, giga, gomo, m1 sim only $16, starhub $20 or $22):

IDD: cheaper compared to M1, Starhub SIM only: e.g., call Japan $0.18/min, while M1 is 0.46, Starhub also $0.46. Simba is 0.05, cannot beat simba.
Local signal quality: much better than M1 and simba!
Roaming data: A bit more than Simba. Popular countries MR is $5/GB (for 20 lands), simba is $4 (but is on worse overseas carriers, e.g., Smartfern in ID which is very bad). But better than starhub ($6 same 20 lands as MR) or gomo ($6, 15 lands) or giga ($5, 14 lands).
Calling when overseas: More evpensive than Simba. But better than GOMO and giga: these 2 don't support calling when overseas at all. I find this v important so gomo and giga confirm cannot.

So overall, compared to simba, local signal wins. Compared to m1, signal and idd rates win. Compared to starhub, gomo and giga, roaming price and idd rates win.

imo, MR 5G works best locally. Their roaming offering isn't value for money.

MR called and offered $17.95 for:

5G
90GB Data
1,000 mins + 1,000 SMS (Local)
1GB Roaming Data (Msia, TH, Ind)

Worth the switch? :)
