Yes for giga.

Giga used to sell their plans at $1 for the first month at IT roadshow in Suntec Convention last year. Can terminate the line anytime anywhere.

So, i signed up 5 of their giga line for $1 each to take advantage of those new user promo on Gojek, ezbuy, Foodpanda, Deliveroo, Lazada, Shopee; etc.

I decided to activate those SIM one by one and terminate these lines before the billing cycle is up. They will send me an email once every few days to remind me to activate by SIM.

Wah, so good $1 for first month for the $10 plan?

Nice. Perfect estimation of the time to port the TPG number before the expiry of the TPG trial plan.

Not sure if it will be successful though, but hopefully. TPG line has been cut off at 11pm. MR line still temp number though.

If using the MyRepublic talk to call overseas number, will the Republic number shown on the overseas handphone?

Mine successfully ported over from TPG last night from the trial plan. No sms for successful port.

2 lines now merged into one MR account, UNO+Lite.

In the Jurong West area, I think MyRepublic's signal is weaker than TPG, only one or two bars on the iPhone.

Does MyRepublic have a plan to improve the signal?

Sadly. They are not network operator. They rely on Starhub/M1 infrastructure.

Hence, areas that are weak for a certain Telco, will affect their Mvno too. But you can feedback to them and they will probably work with Starhub/M1 to resolve any issues.

I had the exact same experience but at amk area.
Hence, port out from Mr to vivifi.
Now gets 5 bars with strong signal.
My area Singtel & SH network coverage is better than MR (M1). Even tpg also better than MR (M1) too.

How is vivifi? Are you using the $8.80 plan? Does they provide bill every month and not receipt?
