N7102 Dual Sim Note 2, advice need!

Hello!

Not sure if it's alright to start a new thread. Hope I am not repeating questions others have asked.

Bought N7102 from China, It's a dual sim Note 2.

Problems i am facing,
1, most things related to Google is disabled. I don't have play store, gmail, not even chrome!
What's the options available to get it back?
2, the phone works fine, i managed to download apps from Baidu and some other china andriod markets. But i am having problems with local SG apps, like those mBanking apps, ST, etc... can't seems to find it anywhere beside play store (which i do not have)

Is rooting the only option?
I've been using iphone since the original iphone to iphone 5. First time using Andriod, so far very happy with it, and would have bought a SG note 2, if there's a dual sim option available.

Root is the only option for now. You could have more luck in those chinese forums for those using the same model, but you're pretty much out of luck anywhere else.

download the APK files off the web or use alternative marketplaces like the amazon market store.

an android phone with google disabled is pretty much handicapped.

I saw a 7102 in China Samsung store with firmware 4.1.2.
Got Google Play Store.

The salesman told me that it is stock and is not rooted.

OMG u still using without root? I wonder is it going to be a brick in your hand , 1st the map location doesn't work at all,the stock browser isn't using google search and playstore might not be important to you since you can find apk ard but a lot apps determine your location will not work if u didn't root to solve this issue.
