Your set is not telco set right? You need to have matching PDA, CSC code then you'll get updates via kies.

Anyone on telco sets can do a *#1234# and tell the version info?

Mine is unbranded singapore XSP csc code. Do samsung even push updates to XSP? Changing CSC code meaning things will wiped off :(

it's normal. so far i've only seen one here reply saying he got that function of adding other apps there. but no screencapture of whether is it the same as what we were referring to.
no man. what i meant is after rooting some bros here can multi task on whatsapp itself. as in they can use whatsapp and maybe fb at the same time.

for me whatsapp is still whole screen, cant multi task. only the standard apps can multi task. any advice anybody?

My s3 on XSP can receive OTA updates. So don't worry. They probably discovered sth wrong with the firmware and not pushing it out yet. Haha

My CSC is N7105OLBALIB (flashed stock firmware from samfirmware for testing reasons, was trying to get the latest update but can't). Any one with telco set or local set with a different CSC?

I download a stock starhub verison rom sammobile...and flash it ,following the step 2 instruction on the OP "Flash CWM " steps.... Flash was succesful, but nothing changed....did a factory reset...alamak....all those singtel bloatware come back again -_-"

Is there anyway i can just put Note back to original original condition by flash or rooting without any bloatware ?

Btw, i've manage to install the update OTA after flashing firmware from samobile.

Since you are rooted you can use titanium backup and remove the bloatware.

There seems to be 2 version, a free and pro one....big diff between them ?

Depends on what you wanna achieve, freezing/uninstalling apps require the pro version.

To just freeze apps, check out Gemini App Manager.

I just installed the free version to test...and it can uninstall the bloatware.

And btw, i did some update from samsung OTA before i root. So in future if i want to unroot to do update...i just need to flash the stock firmware , update and reroot again...right ? And all these can be done without losing any of my phone setting etc....?

I am very busy recently. Saw some post asking for a tutorial on unrooting. I will add when I have the time. Meanwhile I'm sure some people here can guide the ones who don't know how to unroot. :s13:

Whats the csc code for telco sets? N7105OLBALIB too?

I've tried using CSC changer to change to SIN(singtel) but not successful, it is still on XSP after wiping everything :(

Just flash the latest update straight away then root. Data will be intact provided its a no wipe rom.

Or get mobile odin pro, flash your update on the fly on your N2 while retaining root.
