I did it but status still show "Modified.:(

Below are the respond from Chainfire regarding whether those who rooted with version 1 should used this new version.

You can, but you don't have to. Only thing that happens if you use N7105 you get the original N7105 recovery back (instead of the N7100 recovery). This might fix OTA problems."

GT-N7105: CF-Auto-Root-t0lte-gtn7105.zip <<< new for N7105

cheers

Yeah... From CF reply, I'm assuming flashing the CF Auto Root for N7105 will gain us the OTA again.

The new fw update from Singtel also can add other app into the multisim right?? Just that connection is even more erratic

definitely no. The new firmware only add the edit function of adding apps which were pre approved by Samsung..so that u can add or remove a max of 12 or 14 apps like the official Facebook or Twitter.

Other than that, u cannot add other apps liao.

Emm... So the status is not checking for modified recovery. Looks like it testing for root.

We ain't sure unless someone restore to stock and root using the NEW 7105 Auto CF root and see if they can do OTA. Since the different between version 1 and new version is the recovery used. V1 using N7000 recovery and N7105 version aka v2 uses N7105 recovery.

It might be the recovery that caused it. Need someone to verify this. :s11:

I get the error bubble: Hardware ID Missing. Windows cannot identify the device plugged into the SAMSUNG Mobile USB Composite Device." after i root

is this normal??

you might want to try the following method. Extracted from XDA

Yeah that whole "Hardware ID missing" was an irritating situation. This is what I recommend as far as making it work.

1. Plug in.

2. When you get the error message, I think its because of a conflict with the ADB interface. Go to Settings, Developer Options, and check off USB Debugging.

3. Plug in once again and it should work. If not, try toggling between Camera and MTP.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate and it works fine for me

Fully working with LJ3?

just go to this site which is done by Paul O Brien.
Tool for the MW for N2. Note 2 Multi Window Tool - Samsung Galaxy Note II - Note2.MoDaCo.com - MoDaCo

Before that, just make sure you are rooted.
And on the LJ3 firmware and not the one which came out of the box (LIJ).

Then make a list of the apps (you need their pacjage names) you want to add to the multiwindow function.

something like the list below. Then copy to the tool and choose LJ3. the tool will generate a zip file and u use that to flash and restart.

Code:

<item>com.android.email</item>

BTW, anyone loaded custom ROM from XDA ? Which one is recommended ?

Came from Chrack V16, Note.

I notice N7100 ROM will screw up N7105 radio, where can I get N7105DXALJ1 modem.bin file or N7105XXXLJ1 bin file for int'l ready modem ? :D
