Have a Singtel set running on LJ3 now. More advisable to flash to HK LJ4 as seen from feedback by most users?
IMHO, yes. resolved my touchwiz crashing issue and the back button on the kb being oddly insensitive
Thanks for the speedy reply. How about the CSC? Should I copy my local CSC or just leave it as the HK CSC? Heard there's no issue but just wanna be on the safe side.
Mine is HK LJ4, but I have GSM/WCDMA option....
Pardon the noob question, I've done the reading part on everything else but i can't seem to find a definite answer for this.
Will rooting with chainfire's auto root wipe any data at all? (Specifically game saves on the internal memory)
(Not sure about this, but do all the N7105 sets sold in SG have an unlocked bootloader? If it does this means rooting wouldn't wipe my data at all right?)
IF it does, will the save data be backed up if i shift the app over to my SD card, then back that up to my PC?
Thanks!
Rooting does not affect your data, and yes all the local sets are unlocked as per IDA law.
i have rooted with Chainfire Auto-Root and now i flash back the original firmware to get rid of it becos Chainfire Auto Root firmware is much more draining battery.
which i seriously don like.
i'm now get back to my original firmware latest update LJ3 and gonna try other root method.
hope this information help.

Haha rooting drains battery? I don't think misinformation is helping.
