Hi guys, I have flashed my phone to LJ4 and copied my original CSC folder after deleting the the HK CSC folder. but now I am still unable to send MMS out. is anybody facing the same problem? or have i missed out a step anywhere?

Perhaps your mms apn settings haven't been configured yet. Give it a try.

Just flashed to LJ4, contacts are intact but now my smses don't recognise the numbers as people in my contacts!!! Show them as numbers but don't link them to the names.

Any help?

where'd you get this rom?

Got to wipe when you flash?

i just flash over the existing LJ3

Restarted twice but its the same. Now when composing new messages and selecting a contact, it'll auto put as their number and not their name also. Guess its time to wipe.

I believe you flashed the LJ4 优化版. Facing the same issue like yours. it was mentioned in this thread few pages back.....

hmm. did you try to sync your google contacts before wiping? usually after flashing my contacts in my messages app also appear as numbers. but somehow, after restarting they changed back. maybe cuz i went to settings and manually sync my google acc.

Anyway, guys still no help on my problem with the MMS? i tried googling but it didn't help me much. problem still around after flashing LJ4 twice. so something must be wrong.

I did have google sync with my contacts but it didn't solve it.
Solved it finally by deleting all my contacts and then importing the contacts file from Kies to my note 2. Now all contacts automatically link to their respective numbers in my messages!

Remain HK csc is less hassle....but only if u can sacrifice the mms
Function.

apparently even after copying over the CSC from LJ3 local. i still haven got the MMS function. guess i'll just have to wait for singtel to update their firmware.
