Nano sim network not up.

Bought an iPhone 5S last night but the network still not up till now.

Did a number of restarts and called Singtel but they still claimed network is up.

Guys, normally how long should my network be up?

My experience with SH switching fr a micro to nano, the 3G network switched to 2G within minutes, within the hour (or even less), the old micro SIM is no longer in use (No Service), surprisingly fast compared to previous experience.

You may be at a location where there is weak signal, any luck if you go to a known location with strong cellular signals?

That's strange.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Networking Settings

Took mine a day. Called them again this morning and got the typical "we have an issue with our system" rationalization. It took 2 hours after that to activate.

1 min for me. walked out of singtel telecom building. its activated

Regardless whether is it nano, micro or normal sim, the control of the network should back to telcos, could it be a faulty sim card. Go down and change a new one...
