NAS for Photo Storage

Hi, I am looking to use a NAS purely for uploading and storing photos as I do not have a PC at home right now. Only using an old notebook.

Any value for money NAS to recommend? I'm think 1TB should be more than sufficient.

I using Synology for photo NAS. I like their photo station (version 5. Version 6 quite buggy). I like the fact they have iPhone and iPad apps for photos uploading and viewing.

Do you need easy accessibility to all your photos?

If not I would go for a BluRay writer instead of a NAS.

I don't. But I don't have a computer at home and notebook is rarely used. So I thought a NAS allows me to easily store my photos and videos from my devices.

You can always opt for Dropbox if you want to sync your camera photos and video directly.

Fairs because cheaper generally. Need to compare price first before u buy
