Nas question

Hi guys, currently i have a dlink nas, and its connected to my router inside my room, as my fibre will be coming next week and the TP is at the living room.
and i intend to get a wireless card for my pc to access the internet.
can i connect my dlink nas straight to my pc ethernet port and use it normally like i use to do ?
as cable laying wont be an option over at my place.

what settings do i need to do ?
enable internet connection sharing on the ethernet port ?

why must enable sharing?

just set static ip will do what.
