National Development Minister Desmond Lee and Health Minister Ong Ye Kung attended the launch of Our Residents' Hub at West Coast Peak Residents' Network, marking the start of new initiatives to support seniors.

The plan includes expanding the number of Active Ageing Centres (AACs) to help seniors remain active and socially engaged, particularly in areas with limited amenities.

These efforts are part of the Age Well SG programme, a national initiative launched in 2023 by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of National Development, and Ministry of Transport.

Ong announced a commitment of S$800 million over five years to increase the number of AACs across Singapore.

Parkour is a useful skill for drug dealers and gangsters when running away from CNB and SPF officers. I think itis underappreciated. Maybe parkour facilities should be built in more of lower SES areas.
