Hi, currently i just completed my ITE course and wish to continue to study polytechnic but my enlistment letter is here and i got police

1)is it possible for me to defer ??

if yes

2) will i still get police or will i be send to another unit ??

What's your age? That time when you do pre-enlistee registration have u deferred? (aka before your medical check up)

How old are u? If not too old, tell them some story about u want to go ocs but ifu enlist now with ite u cant go,so pls defer me so that i get my diploma & can try for ocs. Lol

With regards to question no. 2, my friend received his enlistment letter which is the SIR mono intake in 2012, he deferred and completed his studies, thereafter he received his SPF enlistment letter and now 8 months into his service. So there is a possibility you will be transferred to another service, if I were you I'd serve and get it over with, SPF NS life is better than army.

did u defer for ur ITE before?

I think is cause of your age that's why you cannot defer again.

Easy for you to understand. This is the 2 flow for ITE students.

1) Nitec (2 years) > Higher Nitec (1 or 2 years) > NS (2 years) > Poly Dip

2) Nitec or Higher Nitec (2 years) > Poly Dip (2 or 3 years) > NS (2 years)

I suggest u faster finish ns and get it out of the way. Once u clear ns you'll be a lot more matured n forward thinking. Will help for your diploma
