Debating between Banking & Finance and Business Analytics.

For B&F I'm mainly taking for personal interest/curiosity cause I heard it touches on investments and wealth management which can apply in real life. But I'm not really interested in working in a bank/trading/investment organisation.

For Business Analytics, I'm considering taking it up because it sounds very relevant and useful and interesting too, but I'm concerned that I may not have the math/ coding/ programming skills to do well in it. I think we will be sharing classes with some of the computing/engineering students? If so, I think I'll constantly be feeding the bell curve which can get demoralising after a while :look:

Anyone specialised in either of those two courses? Can share what they're like/ about? What's the class sizes like?

Also, not sure if it's relevant but I'm currently taking DDP with Accountancy... so would B&F or BA be a better option for the Business degree?

Thanks! :D

not in both specialization - but IMO depending what u wanna do as a career.

With the DDP is either u do Accting or Biz related jobs

If u want complimentary to Accting, bnf will be more suitable

Biz analytics curve is steep - but again if your concern about ur 1st class then this is a factor.

your two degree will have two gpa - so doesn't really matter..

Why is B&F more complimentary to accounting?

How steep is the bell curve for BA? Not really aiming 1st class, more like 2nd upper.

I believe those BNF people can answer u better.

Cohort size wise the biggest faculty is BNF. BA should be among the smallest . Total biz cohort is around 5XX

For the bell curve, I would say it is quite steep because of the small cohort plus
the zai kias are usually in these type of quantitative mods.

Accting + BNF combo is usually popular because the info from Accting can help in investing for instance.
