Nearly 1 month wait for Prudential Policy payout/surrender

Just sharing my experience with Prudental and wonder if anyone faced the same problem.

Surrendered my life policy late Jan 2018, got a noticed its surrendered and processed by 1st Feb. No sign of the cheque even now, 23rd Feb. Called their customer service 3 times, only said wait few days more/ one more week.

Just wait lor. what can you do. They will definitely payout. Otherwise chase your Pru adviser.

U shld go down to their customer service centre and terminate on the spot

For AIA, they give u the cheque after 30mins

For big companies, the approach is very very simple. Write/call/go and see their Corp comms....

Done that with Stanchart, AIA and others. Within 1 week all settled. .

Family member surrendered a Prudential policy last year late November. Cheque received in a week from sms confirmation.
