Need a keyboard recommendation

I previously bought a Logitech G512 with blue clicky swiches and found it too noisy. Also didn't like how sharp the edges were on the keys as well..

Now currently looking for keyboard with numpad and brown switches. Or some slightly less clicky blue switch. Also looking for keyboard with raised keys for easier cleaning. I don't care about RGB either as I usually just turn off the lightning on my keyboard and mouse. I also kinda like plastic keyboards, but I guess I'm open to the newer metal ones

Any recommendations would be much appreciated

You can check out tempest keyboards, local seller priced bout $130-140 mainly selling the 3 main cherry mx switches blue/brown/red. Their keyboard also looks pretty good. I'm not sure what their base keycaps are made off, but they do carry taihao keycaps.

I have tried about 10 mechanical kbs in the past and finally settled with Filco. Best so far and still works like new even after many years. You can check my thread on this.

Tempest only has TKL atm, OP needs a keyboard with numpad

do research more as there are many more mech keyboard companies on the market now

there are some from china also

there are ducky.. filco... topre... keychron, tecware, akko, hyper, corsair

that said, you wont go wrong with ducky keyboards, they are quite value for money overall

Quality and feel > features. Filco is a solid choice for off-the-shelf.

Been in the keyboard hobby since '09. Moved on to customs years ago but I'd still recommend Filco over brands like Logitech, Razer, Steelseries, Coolermaster, Corsair etc.

If u can type without looking at the key, it's a value for money kb.
But, the fonts is just terrible.... got rid of it...

only settled on the G915 after seeing it in a few review videos. it turns out a logitech keyboard also works great since I already have G hub installed for my G502 mouse I've also taken a liking for wireless peripherals as well

I can't recommend this keyboard enough if you don't mind splurging.

I recently bought the Razer Basilisk Ultimate mouse and was blown away by it. Easily the best mouse I’ve ever owned.

I then bought the Razer Hunthsman Elite keyboard expecting with pretty low expectation and again was very impressed by it.

Happy with my purchases and I have to say Razer have come a long way but prices are very steep!

life is too short to save on something you use everyday
