Is the spec below advice by roy able to fully utilize the BenQ XL2420Z and for the case i am looking at the Corsair graphite 760t ?? and should i go for a sound card to get better sounds?


Msi b85 g43 gaming + i5-4570 ~ $384
(planning to get i5-4670)

Gskills ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit ~ $113
(Planning to get 2 x 8Gb)

WD blue 1tb ~ $75
Crucial m500 240gb ~ $185 or ($155 from amazon)
Msi gtx780 3gb twin frozr ~ $735
Seaaonic g650 650w 80+ gold semi modular psu ~ $135
Samsung ODD ~ $21

Windows 7 home premium 64bit oem ~ $110
(should i go for Windows 8 to future proof)

Get a 4570 is enough le no need top up the additional $20 cause you won't feel the diff.
8gb ram is enough for gaming
Yes Windows 8 can future proof abit, but Windows 8 also have quite some driver issues.

780 alone may not give u 120fps in 1080p for future games....gpu nowadays nt strong enough yet.

You may need to sli to push for 120 or even 100 fps @120hz or say, crysis 4.

But by doing so, u need z87 g45 and 850w psu.
