few options for you.. to upgrade to a new bigger ssd or try to clear up the temp files and system restore cache..

to clear the temp files, right click on the drive -> properties -> disk cleanup. check the boxes thats relevant.. exclude the thumbnail..

Probably your system restore using up too much space. Reduce the percentage of hdd space use by system restore

1. delete temp files (type %temp% in your windows bar and delete all the files in there. it's normal that some files will be in use and windows doesn't let you delete)
2. lower system restore size or just turn it off if you don't need it
3. disable hibernation if you don't use it at all (right click cmd run as adminstrator, type powercfg -h off)
3. uninstall programs you very seldom use
4. buy a bigger ssd. 120gb really isn't enough nowadays. the best you get is an updated windows and 1 game.

disable hibernation

disable system restore if u really need to do a system restore, it means time for u to do a fresh install.

del all update patch files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

Housekeeping.

Move non system files occupying C: drive especially those data files in the C:\Users\username folders to other drives.

Deletion of all temp & other files via "Disk Cleanup".

Reduce the System Restore size to the minimum to around 5%.

Clear &or purge browser cache, history, offline files, etc; regularly.

your choice is either upgrade to a bigger size ssd or as other mentioned do a system cleanup in your c:.

last resort is to move irrelevant files from c: to either e: or f:.

- Ran Disk Cleanup and there was nothing much to clean
- Checked and realised that system restore is disabled
- Deleted all the temp files
- Ran CCleaner

I think the only option left is to buy a bigger SSD.

Do I need to replace my current SSD or can I add another to supplement my current one?

Just do this 1 step. So you know what large files are occupying the space and you will know where to find and delete them.

It is better to replace using a higher storage such as 500 GB SSD since the price are coming down.

You already have additional drives which sooner or later will get full.

Maybe it is time to upgrade to more space as it look like you have keep and use a lot of storage space.

Do consider to backup important data to another external drives.
