Are these specs ok?[all prices taken from carousell(seller called itsmine.pc with shop in SLS) only RAM and wireless card taken from simlim.sg]
cryorig quad lumi is just a rough estimate, it will be released in 1-2 months

will decide on games and peripherals after buying PC. My entire setup needs a revamp.

isn't it the other way round? it should be u deciding on games before buying the PC so we can recommend based on that.

also, non k chip on z series mobo, are u doing oc?

and where's the ssd for ur os/games

ah, ok it's likely that I will buy Gta 5, watch dogs 2 and other new games that come out in the future.

No, not really maybe just the turbo mode.

I have a 500Gb Samsung 850 EVO at home for that.

Installing OS is quite simple. Just Google and follow instructions. I don't think you need that many coolers unless you are gonna oc. Did you count the power required for all components to run effectively?

What if I go to the SLS shop and ask them to assemble and install OS?( I'm afraid to risk 2.6k to build myself as I have never built a PC before)

I'm deciding between liquid or air cooled, not both.

Is 650w insufficient to run the components?Or do I need more?

go for liquid cooling if u are running OC or just want slightly more silent setup while retaining your temp cooling. but if not just air cool is fine.

yes 650W is more than enough. unless u are consistently turning it on for 24/7 for other stuff that is high usage.

Thanks, I will likely wait for the quad lumi then.

i may be wrong but based on the games you have,
i5 is more than sufficient. get value rams like many have said.
GTX 1070 should be more than enough for your needs.
and since you aren't overclocking, no requirements for extra liquid coolers and the likes. also, ideally should use LAN to game rather than wireless.

Dont take my word entirely for it though. last i build my pc was 3/4 years ago? my gpu was still rather new.
Yeah I'm trying to keep the price low(I'm still a student and using the money I got from part-time jobs to buy this) while still making it look good which is why i'm keeping a black and white theme and the corsair crystal 570X RGB.

I am not even sure what u want really. Just decide on what resolution and refresh rates I want to play at and type of games then decide.

U should look at building the PC yourself to learn more about the parts. It will come in handy when u need to troubleshoot in future.

If you're trying to keep your budget low, it'll be more ideal to drop your board to a more budget friendly board like the H series mb since you're not overclocking. And an i5 is sufficient for gaming unless you have other intentions in choosing an i7.

Thanks for all the replies!
As you guys have suggested, I should switch to an i5 and a H series board, so does anyone have reccomendations for a good one?(preferably a black and white theme one)

As for value ram, is there any that has the covers like corsair vengeance ram?

For resolution, I have to see how much I can squeeze out of the 2.6k budget by lowering specs to see what monitor I can buy.
Does anyone have reccomendations for a good 1440p and 1080p monitor?(my current one is a LG 24" 1080p that is 3yrs old and not made for games)

i5 7500+ MSI artic board

ram with cover is call ram with heatsink. which all valueram won't have.

for monitor can go for 1440p with 144hz G/ free sync one. (depends on which gpu u getting.

So this is what I have after the changes but I realised that I forgot to mention that I want something with Asus Aura or something similar to control the led strip.(looking for the music effect, the H7 quad lumi also has this effect which is why I want it)

Any recommended 1440p monitor for this build? and how much will it cost?
