Need Advice on Asus Hardware Issue (Bezel)

I've an asus vivobook, just bought like months ago and now the bezel and back part of the top panel pops up whenever i open and close the my laptop lid. I have never dropped my laptop before, neither do I game and I use my laptop in AC environment about 90% of the time so I doubt it's caused by overheating also. Have the following questions and appreciate if anyone can enlighten me

1. What may the possible reason for this issue?

2. I'm still under asus warranty but I don't have a spare laptop and am afraid the repair would take weeks (I use this laptop for work ) Anyone has any idea how long such repairs may take?

3. Would it be better to just pay from my own pocket and send it to a hardware store for repair? Not too sure about the price and time needed in this case. Scared get chop carrot. If anyone has a gauge it would be v helpful!

the hinge inside is likely broken already

you always lift the screen from one end right..

overall its just bad build quality

My past few laptops I always use at least 5 years or so, past 2 laptops spoil within 6 mths each. and this is a new laptop I just bought 6 mths ago so rly puzzling man. I tend to lift the lift from the left side. Any new laptop reco and ideas how to prevent such incidents? Thank u!

Acer, dell or lenovo
but avoid entry level lenovo.

avoid any MSI/HP laptops in general
MSI due to poor hinges. so bad they kana class action lawsuit.
HP is just bad overall

I had 1 i bought in 2019 i think. After 2-3 years also had a similar issue. Then after a few more months, that side of the hinge totally broke off. Still usable though
