Need advice on Budget Gaming Rig!

Hi all Shifus. Im looking to build a rig for my new house hopefully can support 1 monitor 1 TV (Dual Screen) idea is monitor for gaming, tv for watching kdrama(for the wife) I will only use 1 screen at a time(i hope) if nt i need shifus advices on GFX cards.

Currently im looking at 1.5k(CPU) Not lookin to OC, but play BF1 or other games in ultra hopefully.

Processor: i7 6700
Mobo: Asus x99-A II or Asus H170-Pro Gaming
Cooler: Silverstone TD03
RAM: Kingston ValueRAM 16gb
SSD: Samsung EVO 850 250gb
HDD: WD caviar black 2/4tb 7200rpm
GFX: Palit GForce GTX 1070 Jetstream

Feel free to scrutinize it!

Also!! which shop in simlim do you patronize? Best Bargain? etc etc TIA!

No need i7 for gaming. I5 6500, 6600 will do.

Just get a b150 or h170 if u not keen on oc. A h110 also can if u want to stretch the budget.

Would suggest u get zotac premium 480gb. 240gb is hardly enough to store games nowadays

Gpu can try qoo10. I rmb got some deal on 1070.

Ram is fine. U not oc no need to get those ram about 2133mhz.

People usually recommend pcthemes. I can tell u just go for the cheapest. In the end, warranty all reflect back to distro.

next would prefer u get a b150 board. and as for your storage u intend to buy both or 1?

if u got the budget can consider getting HGST 4Tb, else go for toshiba 4TB.

the gpu u chose definitely good for both monitor.

next what about your casing? which one u prefer?

The list looks good to me, personally I would go for HGST hard drive, but caviar black is fine too.

And as mentioned, i7 is fine but likely makes no difference with an i5 for gaming, but of course if you have the budget go for it.

Get b150 board as ure not o/cing

If u want save money:
use stock cooler
HDD dont need black, can get green/hgst hdd/Seagate hdd
Ssd can get cheaper one. No need evo

Thanks! I didn't know the warranty works this way.

As for hdd. It's a struggle. Lol. If I were to go full ssd. I'm probably gonna splurge on a 1tb which will prob burst my budget even more. XD

Thanks. Probably my reason for i7 is for reducing the need to upgrade after a period of 3yrs? Stretching the budget, while making it last longer for bucks!

Local set confirm. Any issue is bring back distro. But u need to know that if u don't buy a whole rig from them, the price is different.

Local distro have their own stickers outside of the box and on their motherboard as well.

Rmb to check through everything b4, u purchase it.
