Budget is about 3.5k without monitor (think getting dell U2713HM)

things that i wanted is of course SSD. SLi GPU if budget allow.

If he say say sli most probably he need a z87 mobo and probably overclocking cpu.

i will be getting it 2 weeks later, so i should buy the ssd first?

yes... can get the crucial 480gb or 960gb if u want... But 480gb is way more than enough..

you reckon it would be better to stick to single card or a sli would be better?

I would say a single card for 1080p resolution is more than enough.

If going for 1440p this single card is still kick a$$.

SLI this card can go 4k liao. lol

With SLI you'll spend a lot more on power and your psu.

Unless you're a heavy gamer who wants only the absolute best, I think just get the best single GPU you can which makes upgrading in the future simpler. Besides, you're just running a single panel right?

Single gpu will do.
Play around with watercooling, lightings, fans, blingbling, modding , custom casing.

If you're talking about the closed loop WC then I think don't bother haha, unless you need WC. If you wanna try doing water cooling for fun, custom loop is a lot more rewarding haha. Go for an 800D or 900D monster uh, fun for builders

If you want to play with lighting, check out the NZXT RGB hue thingy. It's a little pricey but makes your custom PC very bling bling
