Need advice on building my first pc

Hi all, i need some advice on parts for building my first pc. I will mainly use it for doing programming (web and mobile development), surfing web and playing online games and some AAA titles (like valorant & league). Just a casual gaming here with a 60fps monitor.

specs:
Ryzen 5 pro 4650g (with Wraith Stealth Cooler) + MSI B550M Pro-VDH Wifi - $470 (carousell)
Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz 16GB (2x8GB) CL15 DDR4 RAM - $110 (carousell)
Klevv Cras C710 Nvme SSD(512gb) - $88 (sim lim)
Cooler Master MWE White 450w - $55 (sim lim)
Tecware nexus m - $45 (sim lim)
Windows - $2 (Taobao)

Total - $770

Bros here, do you think this is a good build?
Have any opinion on the parts used/parts incompatibility?

want budget build don't go for b550 mobo. b450 is more than sufficient if you are considering to include those parts.

Well, 3000 MHz RAM? For that price? No. You can get 3600 CL18 on amazon.sg or Newegg. Avoid Carousell for RAM.

Be advised that the built-in GPU is "good enough" at low settings but if you will have a higher resolution (1440p or 4k) Monitor it will struggle. I recommend planning on saving a bit and getting a 1660ti in the future.

The B550 is quite expensive to pair with a 4650. B450 is a better fit, but b550 would allow for a more worry-free upgrade to Ryzen 5000.

Klevv Bolt 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 is 95 frm dynacore too.

Spend $3 more & get 500w coolermaster psu better also.

Would assume he chose 4650g for it coming with integrated graphics to save some cost. Getting a 3600 is certainly faster but it would add more cost overall since he need to get a dedicated graphics card for the PC to even display.

Really hard to recommend parts if no budget is stated though.

I actually wanted to go for a b450m mobo. But I can’t seem to find sim lim store selling mobo alone or mobo below $130 online except form amazon. I have not use amazon b4 therefor don’t know if its safe.

Thus, i decided to go for a purchase with purchase that the seller offer which is an additional $130 for the mobo. The chipset with Wraith Stealth Cooler alone cost $330.
However, if bros here say it’s safe, i can try amazon too.

I wanted to get a apu to save $$$ .
I have checked, dynacore a saw the deal thanks bro, i think I’ll get that.
I think i will get the 500w psu for more choices of gpu upgrades in the future.

I think i will go for the CL16 form dynacore for $95
I understand that the apu is rather limited in it’s graphics ability. I would mainly use it for programming work for now. Thus, i think if i want better gaming performance, i can get a gpu in the future when i have more $$$

Yup, i choose to get a apu to save cost.
My budget is to be around $750 (best is as cheap as possible ) with as much working performance as possible.

Would assume he chose 4650g for it coming with integrated graphics to save some cost. Getting a 3600 is certainly faster but it would add more cost overall since he need to get a dedicated graphics card for the PC to even display.

Really hard to recommend parts if no budget is stated though.

b450 boards do not support 4xxx apus as yet (not officially anyway). u will require a a520/b550/x570 board to run the 4650g. 400 series support should probably arrive alongside support for the 5000 series cpus, but also depends on whether u are willing to wait till then. anyway i have to say that the carouseller has a really good price on that combo...

some other things i would recommend:
please use a different case. the nexus m has terrible airflow and temps can get pretty bad. source: im using one -->
if ur already ballsy enough to buy off taobao i would suggest replacing your ssd and ram from amazon. for the ssd price u can get the best pcie3 nvmes like the wd black sn750, while u can also get faster ram for cheaper too.

I buy the windows products key off taobao cos it’s $2 only I’m not sure if i can trust online store for the more expensive parts. I’ll see the parts on amazon and think if i wanna risk.

the whole of my original pc save for the case and psu was from taobao, and all of the parts were working i would say buying from amazon would be a safer experience. case wise i would suggest the silverstone ps15rgb, roughly the same size but with a mesh intake and the front intake fans are rgb too. its about $15-$25 more ex but i would say it is worth it.

Thanks alot bro. I actually wanted to build the pc over this few days as i have more time now, I'll start to have more projects coming starting next week. I think i will stick to buying from sim lim for now and will consider using amazon when i want to upgrade. I saw the wd sn550 ssd. It have really good price, i will see if i can get it when i upgrade my storage.

May i know is the airflow of the Tecware Nexus M really that bad?
I saw the Tecware Nexus M2($44) & Tecware Nova M($48) in dynacore, would it be better, since it got 2 side intake instead of 1 in the Nexus M.
Or should i get those with mesh front like Tecware Forge M($54) or Alpha M($54) instead?

For the mesh front, i scared the internal will get dusty easily, as i do not want to clean it often

When i go googled about the msi b550m pro-vdh wifi, i noticed that there were many 1 star reviews and most saying quality issue with some having boot loop. Is msi board that bad? Should i top up $25 to get asus prime b550m-a wifi?

well given that at stock game clocks my rog strix rx580 with a beefy 2.5 slot cooler and 3 fans will throttle with the case fully assembled, i think it is fair to say the nexus m has pretty sh!t airflow. nowadays i take the front panel off, downclock my 580 to just 1000mhz and limit the fps to keep temps down.

mesh intake cases will have a dust filter too. granted, filters will impact airflow, but at least u are starting off with good airflow and ending up with adequate airflow rather than starting off with poor and ending up with terrible.

try amazon for which parts? for cpu and mobo, i suggest u wait it out since the price offered is pretty good, even i cant match some of his prices with my taobao-fu. for ssd and ram id say amazon is a safe bet. the only thing u should look out for is who the seller is. if it is from amazon sg (which it usually is) then it should be safe. last time got a lot of fake china storefronts offering parts at insanely good prices, which were of course scams, but most of them are gone now. still, do take ur time to check if the seller is legit.

i think it is not bad. what types of harddisk and configuration are you using ?
2 harddisks - SSD for OS and SATA for data
1 harddisk
