Edit: Wifi issue resolved. Instead seeking advice on CPU tuning.

I’d like to ask if anyone can point me to or recommend me channels to learn about OC/UV-ing cpus.

using a 13600K on a MSI z790 pro I noticed my fans would randomly go jet engine mode when just doing normal stuff like Netflix or web browsing. I went to change the CPU lite mode from 12->5 but was getting temps like 75% by just going to bios menu. Running cinebench would shoot temps to 100 with thermal throttling within 7-10 secs or pressing start. So I disabled turbo boost.. then the temps were at 70ish max during full cinebench but score came up to 15060 lol

How far is the router from pc? If 10 ft away please consider to place your router at higher ground possible 5ft and above of nearby cabinet and test

It’s lesser than 10ft and it’s not placed in a low position either. My house small house sia, my router isn’t a crappy one either. I’m using the ROG GT AX-11000

this is my wifi speed being in study room 32 ft away using only ax3000 router

another possible reason i could think of that maybe your router have set the security type at higher encrytion and thus the compatibility with your pc wifi chipset impact the speed.

Eh no la, where got offend? Ps maybe the way type sound like I offended but I’m really not. Just surprised that my iPhone 12 is getting so much better speed from exactly the same spot.

Yeah I think that’s the issue. Antennas are in the box. My builder didn’t screw in the antennas. I got no idea where the antenna holes are and if I can do this without removing the mobo or not

Hi guys, need a bit of advice.
Brand new PC using MSI Z790-P Pro Wifi.
Ethernet out of the question due to cabling so I connected to Wifi. Only getting avg 48-100mbps on 5ghz network with 1gbps fiber.

On the same speed test site and same network on my mobile I’m getting avg 400+ to 500+mbps.

Tried reinstalling Wifi Drivers, and doing a network reset from the advance network settings. Also set the reservable bandwidth in Qos Packet scheduler to 0% but issue persists. Dot really know what I’m doing, all these I googled so any advice would be appreciated.
Try change router Network Channel to a different ones start from eg. 40, Channel Width set to Auto.

usually u buy pre-build, they won't screw in the antenna cause it will break easily when trying to secure pack it for delivery.
