Need advice on home pc

Hi everyone,

I would like to build a home pc (without display) within S$800. It is mainly for net surfing, watching HD movies, word processing and some simple coding, no games. Currently I have, and hence want to reuse, a dell display U2713HM which has 2560 x 1440 resolution.

I am thinking about

8G or 16G ram
2T hdd
250G SSD
2GB GPU

Is it possible and recommended? What will be specific specs?

You wont need a GPU if you aint gaming.
