Nobody can tell you how much to cover except yourself.
The adviser can help you work a budget/premium to be paid and you decide if the premium worthwhile to cover 200k and if premium within your budget.

Some rule of thumb for your consideration:
Coverage for Death/TPD=Factor in your loans (mortgage, car), your dependants(children, parents) etc.
Coverage for CI=Good to have. If kena cancer or other serious illness, the shield plan will kick in to take care of pre-post expenses, surgery, chemo (from S$2K one 3-week cycle). Ideally this should take care of some out of pocket expenses or to help you tide over a certain period, in case your assets are illiquid.
Coverage for Early CI=Good to have. Same as above.

Btw, how do you get a 62K term insurance from Aviva Group Insurance? I thought it is in multiples of 50k?

I think you need to think of what are your daily expenses now first, and the kind of lifestyle you will be living in the event CI strikes, and also taking into consideration that you will likely not be working anymore. This will help you have a better idea of the amount of coverage you need.

Some people feel that because ECI is more expensive (Since it mostly allows claim from early to late stage of CI), and in the event you suffer ECI, it may not be detrimental. Meaning to say, you are still able to work. You may require more MC/Leaves in the process but important thing is income is still coming in as opposed to getting CI.

IMO, if you have the budget, ECI is good to have. But if not, you may want to consider other priorities.

PS. You didnt list down H&S + Rider... i am assuming you already have this :s11:
