Very impressive income.

Suggest to get an investment property. Safe investment now, interest rate rate is still low. Suggest secondary freehold market for higher value.

Create UOB One & OCBC 360 for higher interest rate. Conditions apply.

Hmm you got me thinking what are you working as? You mentioned you are a newbie to investment, but i can't find a non-banker/investment job that pays $400k annually.. even admin service also doesnt pay that much for a 36 year old..

Just take up one of the regular shares savings plan, so you don't have to time the market, and concentrate on your high paying job,
- http://www.posb.com.sg/personal/investments/investing-in-funds/invest-saver
- https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/investments/bluechip.html
- http://www.maybank-ke.com.sg/products-services/products-services-listing/monthly-investment-plan/

Since you have a dbs account, you can set up a regular savings plan online for Nikko STI ETF and ABF Bond fund. Both pays dividends currently.

To invest in more markets overseas in a regular automatic basis, you can look up Maybank KE's monthly investment plan. There, you can set up regular savings plan over 5 markets, singapore, usa, hong kong, malaysia and thailand.
