Hi guys I'm building a new rig to replace my current desktop and have some qns. This is my current pick
Cpu/mobo: I5-4460 + asrock z97 extreme 4 467
Gpu: leadtek Gtx 970 hurricane OC 4gb 509
Ram: 2 x 4 GB Kingston 1600 MHz 104
Ssd: transcend ssd 320 256 gb 169
Case: cooler master haf xb evo 131
PSU: seasonic x 750 199
Monitor: Dell s2340L 229
Mouse: Logitech g502 89
Keyboard: Corsair vengeance k70 rgb 229
Cooler cm hyper evo 212x 57
OS: windows 8.1 professional 64 bit 195
Total 2378
PS all prices quoted from bizgram price list

1: I don't intend to OC my CPU or my GPU but I intend to sli. Is the mobo overkill or can I just use h97 type?
2: since I don't intend to OC my CPU/GPU, should I go for water cooling or stick with air cooled? Since I want it to be as silent as possible
3: is my case big enough to stick a 2nd GPU inside? I dont want to buy it now only to realise that its too cramped to fit another GPU.
4: likewise is the PSU enough to support a 2nd GPU in sli?
5: do I need to pay a fee for assembly if I buy the whole rig at the same store? Or can I buy everything from different stores and pay one of them to assemble everything? Cos I have no idea how to assemble one myself.
6: any shops that do delivery? I can't see myself carrying a CPU, monitor, keyboard and everything else on public transport without dropping and crashing something before even using it :s13::s13:
7: any place where I can get better price or better parts with comparable price? Haha

@ 1080p this is wad u need, I assume ur main focus is gaming

i5-4460 + Msi h97 gaming 3 ~ $393
G.skill Ripjaws 8gb kit ~ $115
Crucial mx100 256gb ssd ~ $155
Wd blue 1tb ~ $67
Zotac gtx980 ~ $749 (Lazada Monday MasterCard 10% discount)
Superflower leadex 650w ~ $139
Nzxt H440 ~ $199 / Corsair 450D ~ $159
Win8.1 64 oem ~ $130
Dell u2414h ~ $335

$2282 buy and DIY @ tradepac ask for discount. If u not sure how to DIY u can bring to gs shop ask him help u assemble @ a fee. Or u can consider go pctheme and buy they can help u assemble as well but slightly more expensive.

@ 1080p a gtx980 will handle any game u throw @ it without issue, if even it can't handle the game the sli gtx970 won't perform any better (poorly optimized game)

If u dun intend to overclock then dun do it, less heat , less power, less issue

I intending to sli in the future not now that's why. Also, not intending to over clock but I want the rig to run silently as well that's why the QN about water cooling or air cooled.

Intel stock hsf is as silent as u can get :s13: no point sli in future especially in 1080p

Go for silent orientated cases like fractal design r4 or nzxt h440

Get a slightly better than stock cooler 3rd party cooler like deepcool Gammax 300. Very quite even at max load.
