Hi, I bought the Xiaomi handheld vacuum cleaner from Taobao and the power adapter they provided is a China plug understandably, so I used a international adapter:

But when trying to plug it in, it is loose:

Is this safe? If not, what can I do about it? It is brand new...

Force lo...

Or a better adapter

Or replace the 2 pin plug... Cut and replace 3pin

Force scared later break šŸ˜…

How to cut and replace? If find a better adapter, is it must match the input/output as stated in the original plug?

it is not ideal, but yes it still can be used. Just that a slight pull, the plug might falls off and no power lor...

NO!

The plug is an AC to DC plug. If you replace with a standard 3 pin, you will be feeding 240V instead of 30V to the vacuum cleaner.

no, it won't cause a fire... no spark also, just not nice looking. It is a charger only, so you won't be moving it around anyway.

You can buy better quality adapters, those will be a more secure fit. I usually get Taiyo, from challenger. $3-4+ I think. Looks something like this:
